The 2017 season in Morzine has now come to a close and what a season it has been. With new tracks in both Chatel, Champery and Morzine, it's safe to say that bike life in the alps has never been better.
Nico Vink Giving his new line a send, high speed and big air being the aim of the game on this track. The Fest series founder/rider has been given full creative license when it comes to updating and building new tracks in Chatel so you can expect more, crazy fast lines in the future taking the Portes du soleil to new heights in 2018.
Key highlights of the year must of course include the epic start with a dry Crankworx Les Gets. Having struggled with the weather in 2016 we were anxious of its popularity. However true to Crankworx form the athletes brought the show and put a smile on everyone's faces to cement Les Gets back on the map for future events.
Another highlight for us was the introduction of a mechanic at our Riders Week Chalet. This combined with our fresh fleet of Orange 324’s and Alpine 6’ hire bikes turned out to be a great success! Clients really valued the knowledge and experience that the mechanic could offer. After a full day abusing your bike on the epic trails of the Portes du soleil clients were able to drop off their bikes and then pick them back up freshly tuned the next morning
Although we had a few wet weeks, overall the season was very dry. This meant the tracks stayed in a better condition and roosting berms was at the top of everyone's agenda. When combined with the #deathgripultimateroostcontest this made for some crazy shots from our guests and staff.

On Sundays we ran our meet and greets, this was a great opportunity for all our clients after their first day shredding the best trails Morzine has to offer; to meet the staff, book onto day trips and just generally chill out with a beer at our favourite pub in Morzine, Le Cottage.
Infamous at Le Cottage was the “crocodile game” this is a locals favourite but many of our clients took a shining to the seemingly innocent childrens game. This acted as a great kickstarter to keep the good vibes running off the mountain and set the course for the rest of the week.
