Mountain bikes, and the trails we ride on, is our livelihood, as well as the mountains and surrounding environment being our home in a wider sense. We ride our bikes in the wilderness of Scotland and the coastal mountains of the Italian Mediterranean while the French Alps are home to our skiing & MTB holidays, but away from these bucket list spots, our local trails are just important, and keeping them clean is something that all of our staff are passionate about.

Morzine is our spiritual home. It is actually home to around 20 of our seasonal staff for 3 glorious months of Summer, as well as more of us year-round. We bring tourists in their thousands to the town each summer and winter, so looking after the environment that has been so good to us, through memories and the opportunity to make a livelihood from it, just seems right.

Keep 'em clean

The Mission

Through events, educational programs and hard work, Trash Free Trails are on a mission to reconnect people with nature through removing pollution from trails! We’re thrilled to be working with Trash Free Trails and organise a Morzine trail clean together, with our first event planned for June 2024 at the start of the summer season.

While we believe that trail pollution is generally kept quite low around the bike parks of Morzine, the winter season - and the inevitable dropped gloves, ski poles and cigarette butts - can sometimes leave behind a reminder once the snow melts that we must all do better. It is for this reason that we chose opening week for our trail clean, so that we can jump headfirst into summer knowing that the trails are clean and we’re ready to shred all summer long.

In years to come, we would like to repeat and grow the trail clean, so with the help of Trash Free Trails, we can monitor the level of trail pollution and contribute to a downward trajectory in the amount we see on those trails.
