Pila - Classic World Cup

Drifting in moon dust is so much fun! Pila's Classic World Cup track rips straight through the guts of the bike park. Fast open corners, big hips and massive berms make this trail a blast top to bottom. One of the oldest tracks in the Pila bike park this one has found its groove over many years of abuse and thousands of tyres later it just gets better, a sure favourite for flat-out speed in the Pila Bike park.

Pila - Rossa Two FR

To the riders right from the top of Pila's Chamole chairlift, there is a network of red and black trails that are fast and flowy, with quick interlinking berms often tyre deep in Pila moon dust! This is Rossa Two, or Red Two. These tight tracks wind in and out of the ridgeline to the right-hand side of the hill looking down the mountain. They are littered with trees and require you to keep your eyes peeled for that next berms, drop, or gap.

Pila - Desarpa

Desarpa is accessed by the Couis 1 chairlift in Pila. Only open for a short period each summer, it's a natural zone that descends from 2600m to Pila village. An awesome range of terrain, with open alpine sections to technical rock gardens to forest single track, it's challenging and tough in equal measure. If you want truly epic and heights aren't a problem, you can access the trail from the ridge line from the right hand side of the chairlift. If you like your trails natural, you know what to do!

Pila - Rientro

Rientro drops from the base of Pila's 'bike stadium' to the valley floor in Aosta. It's maybe the best home run in Europe, if not the world, especially considering the only other options down are the cable car (death before download), or the road, no choice really! It's long and mostly natural with some built turns and features. There are multiple lines and sections, some steeper, some faster, some marked and some just criss-cross through the woodland. Riding this with a group at the same pace is a hoot! There are some incredible turns to roost, super fun and you really earn that beer by the bottom!

  • Start Location - Chamole Express - 2309m

Pila Top to Bottom

Not only is Pila fast and rough with a 1750m vertical descent top to bottom this place has to be on your list for 2019. The tracks run from the very top of Pial Bike park right down into the old town of Aosta with multiple line choice ranging from Reds to Blacks the track runs for 11km to the bottom.
